Rajanna Sircilla: A horrific road accident in Telangana’s Rajanna Sircilla district has sparked outrage after a speeding Scorpio SUV allegedly rammed into passengers waiting at a bus stop in Gambhiraopet mandal, killing one woman on the spot and seriously injuring two others.
The shocking incident occurred near Raja Rajeshwar Rao Colony at the Gajasingaram bus stop and was captured on CCTV cameras. The footage later went viral on social media platform X after being shared by user Surya Reddy, triggering widespread concern over reckless and negligent driving on public roads.
According to police, the Scorpio vehicle allegedly lost control while travelling at high speed before veering off the road and crashing into pedestrians standing beside the bus stop.
Woman Dies On Spot After High-Speed Collision
The deceased woman has been identified as Lakshmi, 35, who reportedly suffered critical injuries and died instantly due to the impact of the crash.
Another woman identified as Rajitha and her son Yashwanth sustained serious injuries in the accident. Locals rushed to rescue the injured victims and shifted them to a nearby hospital before emergency officials arrived at the scene.
Doctors confirmed that the injured are currently undergoing treatment under medical supervision.
“The vehicle came at terrifying speed and crashed directly into people waiting for the bus,” eyewitnesses reportedly told police.
The impact of the collision created panic in the area, with residents gathering near the accident site soon after the crash.

The CCTV footage of the accident has gone viral across social media platforms, with many users demanding stricter action against reckless driving and speeding violations.
Police officials reached the location shortly after receiving information about the accident and shifted Lakshmi’s body for postmortem examination.
Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Officials are currently examining CCTV footage, questioning eyewitnesses and verifying details related to the vehicle and driver involved in the crash.
