According to the investigation, Raghu returned home on the night of February 7 after consuming alcohol and an argument followed. Police allege that Bangari contacted Ramu, who then came to the house.

The two accused allegedly strangled Raghu while he was sleeping and caused his death by suffocation.

The investigation further found that the accused allegedly moved the body to a farm in a Tata Ace vehicle and buried it in a sugarcane field the following night.

Missing Person Complaint Leads to Murder Case

After Raghu’s death, Bangari allegedly told family members and others that her husband had gone to his hometown and later claimed that he had gone to another village to herd sheep.
