Renukaswamy murder case accused Pradosh has sought pardon and approver status before the Bengaluru trial court
The Bengaluru trial court will consider A-14 Pradosh’s plea for pardon and approver status in the Renukaswamy murder case.
Bengaluru: The 59th City Civil and Sessions Court (CCH-59) in Bengaluru is scheduled to consider an application filed by Pradosh, accused No. 14 (A-14) in the Renukaswamy murder case, seeking pardon and approver status.
Pradosh has approached the trial court through his counsel and stated that he is willing to disclose information concerning the alleged offence during the trial proceedings. His application seeks consideration under the provisions of criminal procedure governing the grant of pardon to an accused who agrees to provide information relevant to an offence.
The application forms part of the proceedings in the case involving actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and other accused.
Renukaswamy Murder Case Approver Plea Before CCH-59
According to the application submitted before the 59th CCH Court, Pradosh has expressed his willingness to provide information and facts concerning the alleged offence before the court.

The plea asks that Pradosh be produced independently from a separate jail cell during court proceedings. The request has been made along with his application seeking pardon and consideration as an approver.
Prosecution and Defence Positions on Pardon Pleas
During the proceedings, the prosecution counsel submitted that Pradosh had already filed an application seeking pardon and that the plea should be accepted so that the proceedings could continue.
Darshan’s counsel, Hashmat Pasha, opposed the application filed by Pradosh.
A-10 Vinay, another accused in the case, has also filed a petition seeking pardon. The prosecution’s stand on the applications filed by Pradosh and Vinay will form part of the proceedings before the trial court.
