A violent clash between two rival groups in Bengaluru's Vinoba Nagar left three people seriously injured on Wednesday evening. The incident, which occurred under the Kalasipalya Police Station limits, allegedly involved supporters linked to two local groups. Police have registered a case and initiated a search operation to trace the accused.


Bengaluru: Three people sustained serious injuries after a clash between two rival groups in Vinoba Nagar under the Kalasipalya Police Station limits on Wednesday evening, police said.


According to preliminary information, the incident took place at around 6 pm on a public road in Vinoba Nagar when members of two rival groups allegedly confronted each other. The confrontation escalated into violence, resulting in multiple injuries and creating panic among residents in the locality.


The injured were shifted to KIMS Hospital, where they are receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU). Their condition is reported to be critical.

Police have registered a case and launched a search operation to trace those involved in the clash.

Vinoba Nagar Clash Triggers Police Investigation

Police said the clash allegedly involved supporters associated with two rival local groups identified as the Maulana group and the Doddi Vamsa group.


During the confrontation, members of both groups allegedly attacked each other on a public road, disrupting public movement and causing concern among local residents.


Authorities reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and initiated an investigation into the sequence of events.


Three Injured Shifted to KIMS Hospital in Bengaluru

The three injured individuals were immediately taken to KIMS Hospital for medical treatment.


Hospital sources said they are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit due to the seriousness of their injuries.


Police have not yet released the identities of the injured persons.


Police Search Underway for Accused

Police have named several individuals in connection with the case. According to the complaint, those allegedly involved include Azam, Amjad, Awaiz, Mubarak, Khaleel and Iluba.

A case has been registered at the Kalasipalya Police Station, and teams have been deployed to trace the accused.

Officials said further legal action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation.


Investigation Continues in Vinoba Nagar Clash Case

Police are collecting evidence, recording witness statements and reviewing available information to determine the circumstances that led to the clash.


Officials stated that efforts are underway to apprehend those responsible for disturbing public order and that additional details will be released as the investigation progresses.
