Joginder Kaur Brutally Killed in Bham Village, Police Investigate Robbery-Murder Incident in Chabbewal Area
Hoshiarpur, Punjab: A 90-year-old woman was brutally murdered, and her body stuffed inside an iron trunk in Bham village, Chabbewal area, police said on Thursday. The gruesome discovery has left the local community shocked and authorities on high alert.
The victim, identified as Joginder Kaur, was found late on Wednesday evening in the trunk. Police officials reported that her body bore multiple injury marks on the head, indicating a violent assault.
Robbery-Murder Suspected
Preliminary investigations suggest that the crime may have been linked to a robbery. Officers confirmed that valuables were reportedly missing from the victim’s home. However, no arrests have been made yet, and the accused is at large.
