Former Miss Pune’s leaked chats expose alleged abuse, mental torture and dowry harassment before the suspicious death in Bhopal
Bhopal: The mysterious death case of former Miss Pune Twisha Sharma in Bhopal has taken a disturbing turn after her alleged WhatsApp conversations with her mother surfaced online, revealing claims of mental harassment, character assassination, emotional abuse and suffocation inside her marital home.
Twisha Sharma, who was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Bhopal earlier this month, had allegedly sent several emotional messages to her mother days before her death, repeatedly pleading to be taken back home. The leaked chats, now widely circulating on social media, indicate that Twisha was under severe emotional distress and claimed her husband and in-laws were mentally torturing her.
Police have already registered a case of dowry harassment and abetment to suicide against her husband, Samarth Singh and mother-in-law Giribala Singh, following allegations raised by Twisha’s family.
Twisha Sharma WhatsApp Chats Reveal Mental Trauma
According to reports, Twisha sent a series of WhatsApp messages to her mother on May 7, claiming her husband doubted her pregnancy and questioned the legitimacy of the child. She also alleged that her husband constantly humiliated and defamed her.
“My life has become hell, Mom. Please come pick me up tomorrow,” Twisha allegedly wrote.
The chats further revealed that Twisha felt emotionally abandoned after her marriage and believed her husband no longer wanted her in his life.
“It feels like he doesn't need me and has been tolerating me for a year,” one of the messages stated.
In another emotional text sent on May 9, Twisha allegedly wrote:
“I'm going to go crazy… This guy has crossed every limit of vulgarity.”
The leaked conversations also suggested that Twisha felt isolated inside her in-laws’ home and was struggling with severe emotional pressure.
Bhopal Death Mystery Deepens After Post-Mortem Findings
The case intensified after the post-mortem report reportedly confirmed multiple injuries on Twisha’s body before death. According to the preliminary findings, the cause of death was stated as ligature hanging, while several antemortem injuries were also documented.
Twisha’s brother, Major Harshit Sharma of the Indian Army, has alleged serious negligence and suspicious delays by the in-laws on the night of the incident.
As per the family’s claims, Twisha called her mother around 10:05 pm on May 12 and was allegedly crying while narrating her condition. However, the call disconnected abruptly after her husband reportedly entered the room.
The family then repeatedly attempted to contact her but received no response. Around 10:15 pm, the mother-in-law allegedly answered the phone after repeated calls, and minutes later informed the family that Twisha was “not breathing.”
The family has further alleged that despite the hospital being located nearly 10 minutes away, Twisha was taken there much later, raising further suspicion surrounding the circumstances of her death.
Dowry Harassment Case Registered Against Husband and Mother In Law
Police have registered a case against husband Samarth Singh and former judge Giribala Singh under charges related to dowry harassment and abetment to suicide. The investigation is currently underway, and officials are examining digital evidence, chat records and medical reports connected to the case.
