ChitradurgaA devastating fire accident triggered by a cylinder explosion has completely destroyed a hut house, leaving a family in shock after cash, gold, and essential belongings worth lakhs were reduced to ashes.

The house belonged to Chitralingappa, and the sudden fire engulfed the structure within minutes, leaving the family in deep distress after valuable belongings were reduced to ashes.

Cash, Gold and Grains Burnt in Fire
According to preliminary reports, the fire caused by the cylinder blast destroyed nearly Rs 3 lakh in cash, along with gold ornaments, household essentials, and stored food grains kept inside the house.
Locals said flames spread rapidly due to the hut's structure, making it difficult to control the fire in the initial moments.
No Casualties Reported
Fortunately, no one was inside the house when the incident occurred. Officials confirmed that no injuries or loss of life were reported, preventing what could have turned into a major tragedy.

Fire Team Rushes to Spot
After receiving information, the Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the location and managed to extinguish the flames after an intense operation.

By the time the fire was brought under control, the hut had been almost entirely gutted.

Officials Visit Site
Following the incident, Tahsildar Rehan Pasha visited the scene, inspected the damage, and gathered details about the losses suffered by the family.
Authorities are expected to assess compensation and relief measures for the affected household.
