Bengaluru: In a deeply disturbing incident reported from Rajarajeshwari Nagar, a 72-year-old paralysed woman was allegedly killed by her own son, who is suspected to have thrown her from the terrace of their residence.
The deceased has been identified as Savitramma (72), while the accused, her son Venkatesh (43), has been taken into custody by police.
Venkatesh was reportedly her primary caregiver, managing her condition over a prolonged period.
Investigators believe this mental strain may have contributed to the crime, though a detailed psychological assessment is yet to be conducted.
Savitramma died on the spot due to the impact of the fall.
