Tumakuru: A shocking murder has been reported. A body of a 32-year-old newlywed man was found in a garden near Chikkakotgihalli on Jaipur Road in Tiptur. The victim had reportedly been married just two months ago, intensifying suspicions surrounding the circumstances of his death.

The deceased has been identified as Mansur, a resident of 3rd Cross, RCC Tank Road in Tiptur city. Following the discovery of the body, police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

Victim Went Missing After Leaving for Work

According to preliminary information, Mansur had left his house on Wednesday morning in his auto-rickshaw, stating that he was going to work. However, when he did not return home for several hours, his family members attempted to contact him repeatedly.

When calls to his mobile phone went unanswered, the family grew worried and filed a missing complaint with local police.

Body Discovered in Areca Nut Plantation

During the search operation, police traced the victim’s auto-rickshaw parked near Chikkakotgihalli village along Jaipur Road. This discovery intensified suspicions, prompting authorities and locals to search nearby areas.

Soon after, the body of Mansur was found inside an areca nut plantation, indicating that he had been murdered under suspicious circumstances.

Police officials said the condition of the body suggests foul play, though the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem examination.

“The body was recovered from a garden area near Chikkakotgihalli. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the murder,” police sources said.

Marriage Just Two Months Ago Raises Questions

The tragic incident has shocked the local community, particularly because the victim had recently started a new life after getting married just two months ago.

Family members and residents are demanding a thorough investigation, suspecting that there could be hidden motives behind the murder.

Police from Tiptur Rural Police Station have taken up the case and are examining all possible angles, including personal disputes, financial issues, and other possible motives.

Authorities are also reviewing call records, local CCTV footage, and witness statements to identify those responsible for the crime.

Further details are expected once the investigation progresses and the post-mortem report is released.
