Honeytrap accused approaches Amruthahalli Police, alleges forced intoxication, sexual assault at Jakkur villa; counter-case adds complexity
Bengaluru: A fresh and serious twist has emerged in the high-profile honeytrap case in Bengaluru after a young woman, who is herself an accused in an earlier honeytrap complaint, alleged that she was subjected to gang rape after being drugged at a private party. The woman has lodged a formal complaint at the Amruthahalli Police Station, prompting the registration of an FIR against two men identified as Nikhil and Dixon Sandra, police sources confirmed.
According to police officials, the FIR was registered on February 22 following the woman’s detailed complaint, in which she alleged that she was lured to a party, forcibly administered intoxicating substances, and sexually assaulted. The complaint has drawn widespread attention as it comes just a day after a honeytrap case was registered against the same woman at the Malleswaram Police Station on February 21, creating a complex legal situation involving counter-allegations.
What the woman has alleged:
In her statement to the police, the complainant said that she came into contact with Dixon Sandra through social media in January 2026, and their online interaction gradually developed into a romantic relationship. She claimed that the two met several times in person. On February 14, Dixon allegedly called her and invited her to a party at a villa located in the Jakkur area of north Bengaluru.
She stated that she reached the villa around 1.15 am, accompanied by a female friend. At the venue, Dixon allegedly introduced Nikhil as his close associate. The woman alleged that during the course of the party, both men forced her to consume tablets, after which she began to feel dizzy and disoriented.
Alleged assault and confinement:
The complainant further stated that as her vision blurred, Dixon allegedly took her to a room and made her lie down, following which she lost consciousness. When she regained awareness, she claimed she was partially unclothed and found Nikhil beside her, leaving her shocked and distressed.
She alleged that when she questioned the presence of Dixon, he entered the room, forcibly removed his clothes, and both men sexually assaulted her. She further claimed that when she screamed for help, she was locked inside the room, preventing her from escaping or seeking assistance.
Threats after the incident:
According to the complaint, the door was opened only by the next afternoon, and the accused allegedly issued death threats, warning her against disclosing the incident to anyone or approaching the police. “If you tell anyone about what happened, you will not be spared,” Nikhil allegedly threatened, the woman told investigators.
Counter-case and alleged extortion call:
The woman also informed the police that on February 21, Nikhil had filed a case against her at the Malleswaram Police Station, accusing her in a honeytrap-related matter. She claimed that she had earlier shared her version of events on social media, alleging that she had been drugged and sexually assaulted.
Following her social media posts, the woman alleged she received a phone call from a man who introduced himself as the head of a private crime bureau. The caller allegedly demanded that she arrive at a specified location and pay a sum of money, failing which he threatened to leak the incident to news channels and publicly damage her reputation.
Police officials said that both complaints are being investigated separately, and statements, call records, and digital evidence are being examined to establish the sequence of events.
“All allegations are under verification, and appropriate legal action will be taken based on evidence,” a senior police officer said.
“Both the woman’s complaint and the earlier honeytrap case are under investigation. We are examining all available evidence before drawing conclusions,” a police official said.
