Tumakuru: Tumkur University has extended the application deadline for admission to various postgraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. The university said eligible candidates can submit their online applications through the Unified University and College Management System (UUCMS) portal until August 11, 2026.
The extension applies to admissions for postgraduate programmes offered by the university, including M.A., M.Com., M.Sc. and M.S.W. courses.

Tumkur University PG Admission 2026 Revised Schedule
As per the revised admission schedule, the provisional omnibus merit list will be published on August 12, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Candidates who wish to raise objections to the provisional merit list can do so until 5:00 pm on the same day. After examining the objections, the university will publish the final omnibus merit list on August 12, 2026, at 5:30 pm.
Tumkur University PG Counselling Schedule Announced
The counselling process for M.A., M.Com., M.Sc. and M.S.W. courses will be conducted on August 14, 2026.
According to the university:
- Counselling for Arts and Social Work programmes will be held in the respective departments.
- Counselling for Commerce courses will take place at Dr Sir M. Visvesvaraya Auditorium, Tumkur University.
- Counselling for Science courses will be conducted at the university campus in Kunigal.
The university said there is no change in any other terms and conditions mentioned in the original admission notification.
