Tehran: The Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI) said the United States carried out strikes on the construction site of the Darkhovin nuclear power plant early Sunday, marking another development in the ongoing military confrontation between Washington and Tehran.
According to the organisation, the site in Khuzestan province was hit by multiple projectiles during the early hours of Sunday. The facility is currently under construction in southwestern Iran.

Jordan Says No Threat Detected Near Aqaba
Jordanian authorities said they have not detected any security threats in recent hours and have not ordered the evacuation of Aqaba Airport or the Aqaba seaport.
The statement, carried by the state news agency and attributed to a government spokesperson, followed a security advisory issued by the US Embassy in Jordan, which urged American citizens to avoid travel to Aqaba Airport and the seaport due to what it described as a "specific and credible threat."
Jordanian officials said operations at the airport and seaport continue without evacuation orders.
Arab League Calls for Immediate De-escalation
Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy condemned Iran's attacks on several Arab countries and warned that further military escalation could have serious consequences for regional stability.
Fahmy urged both the United States and Iran to take immediate measures to reduce tensions, stating that Arab countries had consistently opposed the conflict and should not bear the consequences of its continuation.
