Teenage sisters from Srirangapatna disappear after leaving behind disturbing note at home


Mandya: Panic has gripped a family in Kalenahalli village of Srirangapatna taluk in Mandya after two teenage sisters allegedly went missing after leaving behind an emotional letter for their parents.


The missing girls have been identified as Sujatha (16) and Rukmini (14), daughters of Ramachandra, a resident of Kalenahalli village. According to family members, the sisters left home after reportedly being scolded by their mother.


Before disappearing, the girls allegedly wrote a shocking letter expressing emotional distress, which has left the family and villagers deeply worried.

“Mom and Dad, forgive us. We cannot die in front of your eyes. We have gone far away and died,” the sisters allegedly wrote in the letter.

The contents of the note triggered panic among the family members, who immediately feared for the safety of the two girls.


Srirangapatna Missing Sisters Case

After discovering the letter, the terrified parents rushed to the Srirangapatna Rural Police Station and lodged a missing persons complaint, requesting authorities to trace their daughters immediately.
