Bengaluru: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board has officially declared the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam-2 Result 2026 for students who appeared for the supplementary examination after failing or seeking improvement in the first PUC examination.


The results were announced on Thursday, May 21, on the official websites of the examination board, bringing relief to thousands of students across Karnataka.


A total of 80,535 students from Arts, Commerce and Science streams appeared for the Second PUC Exam-2 this year, out of which 36,764 students successfully passed the examination.


Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2 Result 2026 Statistics

According to the official data released by the board, 43,311 boys appeared for the examination, of whom 19,367 students passed.

Similarly, out of 37,224 girls who appeared for the examination, 17,397 students cleared the exam successfully.

Officials stated that several students secured high marks in the supplementary examination despite earlier setbacks.


Top Performers and Class-Wise Result Details

  1. As per the result statistics, 62 students scored above 85 per cent marks in the examination.
  2. A total of 8,086 students secured First Class by scoring between 60 per cent and 85 per cent marks.
  3. Meanwhile, 16,940 students secured Second Class by obtaining marks between 50 per cent and 60 per cent.

Additionally, 11,676 students scored below 50 percent marks in the examination.

“The supplementary examination provides students another opportunity to continue their academic progress without losing an academic year,” education officials stated.

Freshers Repeated And Private Candidate Results

  1. Among fresh candidates, 36,764 students passed out of 80,535 who appeared for the examination.
  2. In the repeater category, 10,279 students passed out of 34,419 candidates.

Similarly, in the private category, 1,562 students successfully cleared the examination out of 5,456 candidates who appeared.

The Karnataka 2nd PUC supplementary examination is conducted to help students improve their scores or clear subjects they could not pass during the regular annual examination.
