Parents demand strict action against Thanisandra institution over alleged violation of High Court and Education Department orders

Bengaluru: A protest erupted in front of the Office of the Commissioner of the School Education Department in Bengaluru after parents accused an educational institution in Thanisandra of allegedly conducting un school admissions in the name of a madrasa despite cancellation orders and court directives.

The protestors alleged that Saamar International Islamic School was illegally admitting students while allegedly defying instructions issued by the School Education Department and directions of the High Court. Demonstrators demanded immediate legal action against the school management, accusing the institution of violating educational norms and misleading parents.

The protest was led by parent Abdul Rahim, who urged authorities to take strict action against the institution for allegedly operating in violation of government and judicial orders.

Parents Submit Complaints Against Thanisandra Educational Institution

During the protest, parents submitted complaints to the Office of the Commissioner of the School Education Department, senior departmental officials, and police authorities seeking intervention into the matter.

Protesters alleged that unauthorized educational institutions operating under different names were deceiving students and parents by allegedly creating fake records and continuing admissions despite cancellation of recognition. Demonstrators further claimed such activities could negatively impact the future of innocent children and undermine trust in the education system.

“Educational institutions that allegedly violate government and court orders should face immediate legal action to protect students and maintain the integrity of the education system,” protest leader Abdul Rahim stated during the demonstration.

High Court Orders and School Recognition Cancellation Spark Controversy

According to the protesters, organizations including Jamia Muhammadiyah Mansoora Madrasa Mumbai, Jamia Mohammadia Education Society Mumbai, and The Al-Jamia Mohammadiyah Mansoora Education Society Mumbai allegedly created records under multiple names and misled education authorities.

The protesters claimed that following directions issued by the High Court and recommendations made by a three-member committee of the School Education Board, recognition granted to the institution had already been cancelled.

Abdul Rahim further alleged that the management had submitted different institutional names while applying for renewal of school recognition certificates. He also claimed that the High Court had imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh on the Jamia Mohammadia Education Society Mumbai for allegedly furnishing false information before the court.

Fresh Allegations Over Madrasa Admissions and Fake Receipts

The protesters alleged that despite restrictions and orders barring admissions for the upcoming academic year, the institution was continuing enrollment activities under the guise of madrasa education.

According to the allegations raised during the protest, advertisements related to admissions had also been published in an Urdu daily newspaper in violation of court directions. Protesters further claimed that parents were allegedly being misled through issuance of fake receipts and creation of false educational records.

The demonstrators demanded immediate investigation into the allegations and strict monitoring of institutions allegedly operating without valid recognition or authorization.

Communal Content Allegation Raises Further Concerns

During the protest, Abdul Rahim also alleged that certain objectionable content insulting Hindu deities was available on YouTube and was allegedly linked to the madrasa. He accused the institution of engaging in activities capable of creating unrest, fear, and communal disharmony.

However, these allegations have not yet been independently verified by authorities, and no official statement regarding the claims has been issued at the time of reporting.

Education Department Urged to Take Immediate Action

The protesters urged the School Education Department and law enforcement agencies to intervene immediately to prevent alleged irregularities in admissions and protect students from being misled.

Parents participating in the protest stated that institutions operating without proper approvals or recognition could seriously impact students’ academic futures. They demanded transparency, strict enforcement of court directives, and action against those allegedly violating education regulations.

The controversy surrounding the alleged unauthorised admissions has now intensified pressure on educational authorities to examine the functioning of institutions accused of operating beyond legal and administrative guidelines.
