Amethi (UP): A chilling murder case has surfaced in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi district, where a 24-year-old woman was found dead with her throat slit near a canal, sending shockwaves through the local community.
The victim has been identified as Amita, a resident of Pure Chaturipur village. Her body was discovered on Tuesday by local residents near a canal located a short distance from her house.
Police said the woman was allegedly attacked with a sharp-edged weapon, and her body was later dumped near the canal in an apparent attempt to conceal the crime.
Body Found Near Home Triggers Panic
According to local sources, villagers spotted the body near the canal and immediately alerted authorities. Police teams rushed to the scene, secured the area, and began collecting evidence.
