Monalisa, originally from Indore, reportedly met Farman during a film shoot around six months ago. Farman, who hails from Maharashtra, said their relationship quickly grew stronger.
“I met Monalisa on the sets of a film. Our love has grown in the last six months, and these months feel like a 60-year-long relationship,” Farman said after the ceremony.
The couple had travelled to Kerala for a film shoot and later decided to solemnise their marriage there.
Kerala Chosen for Safety and Support
The couple said they chose Kerala because of its welcoming environment and cultural warmth.
“We love Kerala very much. The safety and the environment here encouraged us to get married here,” the couple said.
Farman revealed that the interfaith relationship had faced opposition from some family members, including his father, who has not yet fully accepted the marriage.
