Hassan: In a heartbreaking road accident, a 16-year-old SSLC student lost his life after being hit by a speeding car while crossing the road near Kamasamudra in Holenarasipur taluk of Hassan district. The tragic incident has sparked fresh concerns over reckless driving and pedestrian safety on national highways.
The deceased has been identified as Chiranth (16), a student who had just completed his SSLC examination. According to reports, the boy had returned to his village by bus after his exam and was crossing the road when the accident occurred on National Highway 373.

Eyewitnesses stated that a car approaching at high speed rammed into the student, leaving him critically injured. The impact proved fatal, and the boy succumbed to injuries at the scene, leaving locals in shock.
