Due to the lunar eclipse and the associated sutak period, several temples across Karnataka and neighboring regions have revised their darshan and worship schedules. While many temples will remain closed during the eclipse, some have arranged special rituals and homas.

- Temples will reopen after 7:45 pm
- Special rituals planned at Kadu Mallikarjuna Temple in Bengaluru
- Sanctum sanctorum closed at Hampi Virupaksha Temple
- Udupi Sri Krishna Math will remain open even during the eclipse
- Sanctum closed at Belur Chennakeshava Temple
- Darshan permitted at Male Mahadeshwara Hills
- Chamundeshwari Temple closed from 2:00 pm
- Special pujas conducted at Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple
- Temple authorities have urged devotees to check revised timings in advance and cooperate with traditional practices observed during the eclipse.

Astrologers note that this lunar eclipse occurs in Leo (Simha Rashi). As per astrological interpretations, the eclipse may influence multiple zodiac signs, prompting astrologers to advise extra caution, spiritual discipline, and mindfulness during the eclipse period.
