High-speed stunt near Anil Kumble Circle lands Rikki Rai in trouble, FIR registered as police seize luxury car and issue notice
Bengaluru: A high-profile reckless driving case in Bengaluru has taken a serious turn after police confirmed the involvement of Rikki Rai, son of late underworld figure Muthappa Rai, in a Lamborghini drifting incident near Anil Kumble Circle.
CCTV Footage Confirms Identity
The incident reportedly occurred around 3 am on March 21, when a luxury Lamborghini was seen performing dangerous drifting stunts on a public road. During the investigation, police examined CCTV footage from the area, which confirmed that Rikki Rai was behind the wheel at the time of the stunt.
FIR Registered, Notice Issued
Following the confirmation, an FIR has been registered against Rikki Rai at the Cubbon Park Police Station. Authorities have also issued a formal notice directing him to appear for questioning.
“Based on CCTV evidence, the individual has been identified. Legal action has been initiated,” police sources said.
Car Seized, Probe Intensifies
Police have seized the Lamborghini involved in the incident and are continuing their investigation into possible violations, including reckless driving and endangering public safety.
