Hyderabad: At least four hotel workers were injured after a pressure cooker exploded at a restaurant in the LB Nagar area of Hyderabad around 12:30 pm on Friday, police officials confirmed.


According to an official from LB Nagar Police Station, the incident occurred at Chutneys hotel during working hours, triggering panic among staff and customers present at the premises. The injured workers were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

“A pressure cooker exploded at Chutneys hotel in LB Nagar today at around 12:30 pm. Four workers sustained serious injuries and were shifted to the hospital for further treatment. We will provide more details later,” a police official said.

Injuries and Immediate Response

Police sources indicated that the injured employees suffered burn and impact-related injuries due to the explosion. Emergency services were alerted promptly, and local authorities ensured that the situation was brought under control to prevent further harm.
