Bengaluru: The Karnataka Milk Federation, KMF, has issued a strong public notice dismissing false and misleading claims circulating on social media regarding the safety of Nandini milk and dairy products.
In its official statement, KMF said that baseless allegations were being spread on platforms such as Instagram and other social media channels, creating unnecessary fear and confusion among consumers. The federation clarified that the claims are completely untrue and lack any factual basis.
Assurance on Quality and Safety Standards
KMF assured consumers that all Nandini milk and milk-based products strictly adhere to the quality and safety standards prescribed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, FSSAI. It stated that approved scientific processes and statutory guidelines are followed at every stage, including procurement, processing, testing and packaging.
Reiterating its commitment to quality, the federation emphasised that Nandini products are safe, hygienic and meet all regulatory requirements. The brand has been a trusted household name in Karnataka for decades, supplying milk and dairy products to millions of families daily.
Warning Against Misinformation
The public notice also warned that KMF will not tolerate the spread of defamatory or misleading content. The federation stated that strict legal action will be initiated against individuals or groups found responsible for spreading false information about Nandini products.
KMF urged consumers to rely only on official communications and avoid sharing unverified claims on social media.
