Bengaluru: Creating a national benchmark in competitive exam performance, Godavati Harshit Vishweshwar scored an outstanding 99.999 percentile, Adarsh Gupta secured 99.924 percentile, and Prateek Sharma achieved 99.987 percentile in JEE Mains 2026, emerging as the top three achievers of P.M. Shri. Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bagalur in Bengaluru city district.


The exceptional performance of the trio has placed the institution firmly in the national spotlight, as all 194 students from the second PUC Center of Excellence (COE) division of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya qualified for JEE Advanced, marking a 100 percent success rate in the highly competitive Joint Entrance Examination – Main.

Principal Umesh Chandra Prajapati, in an official press release, confirmed that the institution has created history with every single candidate clearing JEE Mains and becoming eligible for the next stage.

Top Three Percentile Holders Set National Benchmark

Godavati Harshit Vishweshwar’s near-perfect 99.999 percentile stands among the highest recorded scores, demonstrating academic precision and consistency. Close behind, Prateek Sharma secured 99.987 percentile, while Adarsh Gupta achieved an impressive 99.924 percentile, collectively leading the institution’s remarkable result.


94.30% Eligible for NIT Admissions

Based on last year’s cut-off trends, 183 out of 194 students (94.30 percent) are eligible for admission into the prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NITs). This milestone further cements the institution’s standing among India’s leading government residential schools.


A total of 62 students scored above 99 percentile, reflecting consistent high-level performance across the batch.

Subject-Wise Excellence Breaks Records

The subject-wise breakdown reveals extraordinary academic strength:

  • Two students achieved a perfect 100 percentile in Physics, setting a new benchmark.
  • 43 students scored 99 percentile in Physics.
  • 37 students crossed 99 percentile in Mathematics.
  • 62 students secured 99 percentile in Chemistry.

The results reflect a balanced and comprehensive mastery across core science subjects, a rare achievement in national-level competitive examinations.
