New Delhi:  A Bangladeshi student activist wanted in connection with the murder of a police officer in his home country was apprehended at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and subsequently deported, official sources confirmed Today.

According to sources, Mehdi was flagged during routine immigration procedures at the airport. Upon verification of his identity and travel documents, authorities determined that he was wanted in Bangladesh in connection with a high-profile murder case.
He was detained immediately and later deported as per established legal protocols and coordination between Indian and Bangladeshi authorities.
