According to the available information, Manjunath Pai had visited a temple in the morning and offered prayers before returning. He later went to his newly constructed apartment building on Jodu Road, where the incident was reported.
Karkala Police Begin Investigation
Soon after receiving information about the incident, personnel from the Karkala Nagar police station reached the spot and conducted a preliminary investigation.
The body was sent for post-mortem examination. Police have registered a case and are carrying out further investigation and legal proceedings to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
The incident has caused shock and grief among residents in the area as police continue their inquiry.
