Mumbai: Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, the couple announced on Instagram on Saturday. Their announcement featured a newborn’s footprint along with the words “Welcome baby girl” and the date 19/9/2026.
The couple are already parents to their daughter Dua, who was born on September 8, 2024. With the arrival of their second daughter, Dua has now become an elder sister.
Deepika and Ranveer had announced their second pregnancy on April 19, 2026, through a social media post featuring Dua holding a pregnancy test. The couple had also recently shared photographs from their maternity journey.

The announcement was followed by congratulatory messages from fans, friends and members of the film industry. Several celebrities, including Sonu Sood, Shreya Ghoshal, Masaba Gupta and Kriti Kharbanda, expressed their wishes for the couple on social media.
Deepika and Ranveer married in 2018 at Lake Como in Italy. They welcomed their first child, Dua, nearly six years after their wedding.
The couple had also been seen visiting Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple shortly before the arrival of their second child.
Deepika continued working in films after becoming a mother in 2024. Her second pregnancy and the birth of her daughter now mark another personal milestone for the actor and Ranveer Singh as they begin life as a family of four.
