Bengaluru: In a dramatic late-night rescue operation in Bengaluru, a 16-year-old girl who allegedly attempted suicide by climbing onto the fifth floor of an apartment building in NRI Layout was safely rescued by Hoysala Police and Fire Department personnel. The incident, which unfolded under the jurisdiction of the Ramamurthy Nagar Police Station in East Bengaluru, has drawn widespread praise for the swift coordination between emergency responders and local residents.
According to police sources, panic gripped the locality after the teenager reportedly shouted that she intended to end her life before moving dangerously close to the edge of the building. Residents who witnessed the tense situation immediately alerted emergency services by calling 112, triggering a rapid response from the Hoysala patrol team and fire brigade personnel.

Officials said the girl had climbed to the fifth floor of the apartment complex in NRI Layout and appeared emotionally distressed.
