Jaipur: A disturbing harassment case has surfaced from Jaipur, where a pregnant woman was allegedly sexually harassed while walking through a residential area. The incident reportedly took place in Beach Colony, where an unidentified man approached the woman from behind and touched her inappropriately before fleeing.
The case has gained attention after CCTV footage of the incident emerged, prompting immediate police action.
Woman Was Walking While Talking on the phone
According to initial reports, the incident occurred on March 25 at around 6 PM. The woman was walking through the colony and speaking on her phone when the accused allegedly followed her.
Police said the man suddenly came close from behind and touched her without consent.
The woman was caught off guard by the act and was visibly shaken.
Victim Raised Alarm, Accused Escaped
Despite the sudden attack, the woman reportedly gathered courage and screamed for help. Before nearby residents could respond, the accused ran away from the location.
“The suspect fled within seconds after the woman raised an alarm,” sources familiar with the case said.
No physical injuries were reported, but the incident caused distress and fear.
CCTV Footage Key to Investigation
Authorities are now relying on surveillance footage from the colony to identify the suspect. Police teams are examining camera angles, movement patterns, and nearby routes used by the accused after the incident.
