Devanahalli: In a horrific road accident that underscores the dangers of reckless driving, a 45-year-old biker was killed on the spot after being hit by a speeding car near Bettakote village in Devanahalli taluk of Bengaluru Rural district.


According to initial reports, the car was travelling at high speed near Bettakote village when the driver lost control and rammed into a road divider Today. The impact of the collision caused the vehicle to veer off uncontrollably onto the road, leading to a deadly chain of events.


Moments later, the out-of-control car crashed into a moving bike ahead, leaving the rider with fatal injuries.


Victim Dies Instantly
The deceased has been identified as Venkategowda (45), a resident of Bettakote. Due to the severity of the collision, he succumbed to injuries on the spot, leaving the local community in shock.


Driver Identified, Legal Action Initiated
Preliminary investigation revealed that the car involved in the accident belongs to Anand, a student of Akash Medical College in Devanahalli. Authorities are currently probing the exact circumstances leading to the crash, including possible negligence and overspeeding.

Officials from the Devanahalli Traffic Police visited the accident site, conducted an inspection, and have registered a case against the car driver.
