SSLC student S. Bhuvan from Hosanagara taluk amazes teachers and students by accurately identifying classmates and staff simply by looking at their toes, earning the nickname ‘Human Biometric Scanner’

Shivamogga: In an unusual display of memory power and observation skills, a schoolboy from Shivamogga district in Karnataka has captured widespread attention for his extraordinary ability to identify people just by looking at their toes. The rare talent of S. Bhuvan, an SSLC student studying at a private residential school in Gerupura of Hosanagara taluk, has left teachers, classmates and social media users astonished.

A resident of Mangarshikoppa, Bhuvan has been studying at the same institution for several years and is now gaining recognition for what many describe as a remarkable and almost unbelievable cognitive ability.

Unique Talent That Defies Conventional Recognition

Usually, people recognize others by observing facial features, voice patterns or body language. However, Bhuvan has developed a completely different way of identifying individuals. Instead of looking at faces, he observes the structure of a person’s toes and feet and instantly recalls their name.

During demonstrations on the school campus, Bhuvan stands facing one direction while students and teachers line up behind him. One by one, they extend their feet between his legs while he briefly glances at their toes. Within seconds, he accurately calls out their names.

What makes his skill even more remarkable is that he does not identify just a handful of people. According to teachers and students, Bhuvan can recognize more than 150 students and all the teachers in the school solely through their toes.

Accuracy That Leaves Everyone Surprised

Students often try to test Bhuvan’s ability by hiding their identity cards or attempting to confuse him by showing only their feet. Despite these attempts, the names he calls out reportedly remain 100 percent accurate, leaving the entire school community amazed.

Teachers say the boy has developed a highly focused observational memory that allows his brain to store minute differences in the shape, spacing and pattern of toes and feet.

“He may appear like an ordinary student, but the level of concentration and memory power he possesses is extraordinary. Identifying more than 150 students without seeing their faces is not an easy task,” teachers at the school said.

How Bhuvan Explains His Rare Ability

Interestingly, Bhuvan himself explains the phenomenon in the simplest way possible. According to him, when he sees the feet of his classmates or teachers, their names instantly appear in his mind.

This suggests that his brain processes and remembers subtle physical patterns in a way similar to how most people remember facial features.

Talent Goes Viral on Social Media

Videos showing Bhuvan demonstrating his unique skill are currently circulating widely on social media platforms, where viewers have begun referring to him as a “Human Biometric Scanner.”

The viral clips have drawn admiration from many users who believe the boy’s ability reflects exceptional memory power and concentration rarely seen at such a young age.

Apart from his unusual talent, teachers say Bhuvan is also academically active and performs well in his studies, making him a promising student in both intellectual ability and discipline.

As videos of his talent continue to gain attention online, many people hope that Bhuvan’s extraordinary memory skills will develop further and possibly attract recognition from educational and scientific communities in the future.
