High-speed collision on the Bengaluru–Harohalli road leaves car completely mangled; victims identified as Saif Pasha, Yusuf Khan and Azar Pasha, police begin investigation

Bengaluru: A devastating road accident near Agar Cross on the outskirts of Bengaluru claimed the lives of three young men Today (Sunday) after the car they were travelling in rammed into the rear of a lorry, according to police officials.

The deceased have been identified as Saif Pasha, Yusuf Khan, and Azar Pasha. Authorities said the impact of the crash was so severe that the front portion of the car was completely crushed, leading to the instant death of the occupants inside the vehicle.
Police sources confirmed that the accident occurred on the Bengaluru–Harohalli stretch, a busy road connecting the city to nearby industrial and residential zones.
Overspeeding Suspected Behind the Fatal Crash
According to preliminary findings shared by police, the car was reportedly travelling from Bengaluru towards Harohalli when it collided with the rear side of a moving lorry at high speed near Agar Cross.

The force of the collision left the vehicle badly mangled, making rescue operations extremely difficult. Bystanders alerted the authorities immediately after the crash.
“The car appears to have hit the lorry from behind at a very high speed. The impact caused severe damage to the vehicle, resulting in the death of all three occupants,” a police official familiar with the investigation said.
Bodies Shifted to Rajarajeshwari Hospital
Following the accident, police personnel rushed to the spot and conducted an initial inspection. The bodies of the victims were later shifted to Rajarajeshwari Hospital in Bengaluru for post-mortem examination and further legal procedures.

Local residents reported hearing a loud crash, after which they rushed to the accident site and informed emergency services.

Police Register Case, Investigation Underway
The accident falls under the jurisdiction of the Kaggalipura Police Station, where a case has been registered. Officials have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances leading to the crash.

While the probe is still ongoing, overspeeding is suspected to be the primary cause, though authorities are also examining other factors such as road conditions and vehicle movement at the time of the incident.

Road safety experts frequently warn that rear-end collisions involving high-speed vehicles are among the most common causes of fatal accidents on highways and peripheral roads around Bengaluru.

Authorities have urged motorists to follow speed limits and maintain safe distances from heavy vehicles to prevent such tragedies on busy city roads.
