Child Dies After Car Rams Bike on Halehalli Road; Locals Blame Damaged Stretch Amid Ongoing Repair Work

Bengaluru:  A two-year-old child lost her life in a tragic road accident on Halehalli Road in the Mahadevapura area of Bengaluru on Saturday.

The family was reportedly returning from a temple on a motorcycle when a car approaching from behind rammed into them.

The victim, identified as Trishul, fell off the bike upon impact. The car allegedly ran over the child’s head, leading to her death on the spot.

Locals alleged that the stretch of Halehalli Road was in a damaged condition due to ongoing road repair work, which may have contributed to the accident. Residents claimed that poor maintenance and lack of proper safety measures during repairs have made the road unsafe for commuters.

Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether road conditions and negligence played a role in the tragedy.
