A chilling multiple-murder case has shaken the national capital, as a woman and her three minor daughters were found brutally killed inside their residence in North Delhi, triggering panic and outrage across the locality
New Delhi: A gruesome crime has come to light from Delhi, where a woman and her three young daughters were found dead with their throats slit inside their home in Samaypur Badli. The shocking discovery has sent waves of fear across the Chandan Park area, with police suspecting a case of brutal domestic murder.
The deceased woman has been identified as Anita, while her daughters were aged 7, 5, and 3 years. Police sources confirmed that Anita’s husband is currently missing, and multiple teams have been deployed to trace him as part of an intensive manhunt.
What Happened: Crime Discovered After Night of Terror
According to officials, the incident allegedly took place late Tuesday night and came to light on Wednesday morning. Residents living nearby told investigators that a neighbour was awakened by faint children's screams during the night. Upon approaching the house, the resident noticed dark blood seeping through the gaps of the door, raising immediate suspicion.
Mustering courage, the neighbour alerted the police.
A team from the Samaypur Badli Police Station rushed to the scene. When officers forced open the door, they were confronted with a horrifying sight—four bodies lying motionless in different parts of the room, surrounded by blood.
“The scene was extremely disturbing. Even experienced officers were shaken,” a police official said on condition of anonymity.
Brutality of the Crime Shocks Locality
Police confirmed that all four victims had their throats slit, suggesting the use of a sharp weapon. The sheer brutality of the act has left residents of the area terrified, with many questioning how such a crime could occur unnoticed in a residential neighbourhood.
Forensic Probe and Manhunt Underway
Crime Branch officials and forensic experts were immediately called to the spot. Evidence was collected from the house, and every corner was examined for clues that could establish the sequence of events and the motive behind the killings.
Meanwhile, police have formed multiple teams to locate the missing husband. Raids were conducted at several possible hideouts, and checkposts were set up across North Delhi to prevent the suspect from fleeing.
Post-Mortem Ordered, Investigation Continues
The bodies of Anita and her three daughters have been sent for post-mortem examination and are currently kept at a nearby hospital mortuary. Police officials said the post-mortem reports are expected to provide crucial details regarding the time and manner of death.
Authorities have stated that all angles, including domestic dispute and premeditated murder, are being thoroughly investigated. Further details are awaited as the probe progresses.
