Shiva Sharma’s mother has accused influencer Shraddha Dubey and others of murder, while police examine CCTV footage, messages and post-mortem findings
The death of 28-year-old Lucknow businessman Shiva Sharma after a fall from a fourth-floor apartment on October 9 has prompted a murder investigation. His mother, Ranjana Sharma, has alleged assault and blackmail by his girlfriend, social media influencer Shraddha Dubey, and others. Police are examining evidence to establish the circumstances of his death.
Lucknow: The death of 28-year-old businessman Shiva Sharma, who fell from the fourth floor of an apartment in Lucknow on October 9, has taken a new turn after his mother accused his girlfriend, model and social media influencer Shraddha Dubey, and others of murder, assault and blackmail.
According to reports, Sharma fell from an apartment at Awadh Green Apartment in the Hazratganj area. His mother, Ranjana Sharma, alleged that her son had been subjected to physical abuse and harassment before his death. Police have registered a murder case based on her complaint and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Shiva Sharma Death Case Raises Questions Over Injuries
Ranjana Sharma alleged that her son’s body had cigarette burn marks, scratches and lipstick and makeup marks. She also said he was wearing only underwear when he died and claimed he had been tortured before the fall.
A post-mortem report, recorded 11 entries detailing external injuries and internal injuries, including tears in both lungs, damage to the liver and spleen, internal bleeding and a fracture of the right pelvic bone. Doctors attributed the death to shock and haemorrhage caused by the injuries. However, the findings alone do not establish whether Sharma was pushed, jumped or fell accidentally.
White Audi Under Police Scrutiny
Investigators are also examining CCTV footage that reportedly captured a white Audi arriving at the apartment complex around 15 minutes after Sharma’s fall. Police are attempting to identify the vehicle’s occupants and determine why it arrived at the premises.
Authorities are reviewing footage from the apartment and hospital, along with messages exchanged between Sharma and Dubey, to reconstruct the sequence of events. Police have also questioned people connected to the case and conducted searches as part of the investigation.
Murder Case Registered Against Shraddha Dubey and Others
The FIR reportedly names Dubey, her sister, a driver, an associate and another person. Ranjana has accused them of involvement in her son’s death, but these allegations have not been established in court.
Police are continuing to examine the evidence to determine what happened before Sharma’s fall. The investigation remains ongoing.
