Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar saw Salman Khan confront Rhiti Tiwari over her personal remarks against Uditi Singh, question housemates who encouraged the diss, and also reprimand Qazi Touqeer for his aggressive reaction.
Mumbai: The latest Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar focused heavily on the controversial diss battle that turned personal between Rhiti Tiwari and Uditi Singh. Host Salman Khan questioned contestants over the remarks made during the captaincy-related task and criticised both the language used and the reactions that followed.
Salman particularly reprimanded Rhiti for her comments against Uditi and questioned the other housemates who encouraged her during the performance. At the same time, he also pointed out that Qazi Touqeer’s aggressive reaction during the confrontation with Rhiti and Yung DSA was not acceptable.
The controversy unfolded during Episodes 18–19 on September 23–24 and was subsequently discussed during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes on September 25–26.
Bigg Boss 20 Diss Battle Turns Personal Between Rhiti And Uditi
The captaincy-related task required the contestants to participate in a roast-style diss battle, with members of opposing teams taking aim at each other through rap performances.
The house was divided into two teams. Team Yung DSA included Rhiti Tiwari, Amrapali Dubey, Scout OP, Aasif Khan, Love Gill and Mary Kom, while Team Qazi featured Uditi Singh, Arishfa Khan, Aman Gandhi, Mahhi Vij, Isha Rikhi and Kanika Mann. Captain Gullu acted as the judge.
After earlier rounds reportedly went in Yung DSA’s team’s favour, the later round involved Rhiti and Uditi. Uditi chose not to perform herself and asked Qazi to represent her.
Rhiti then delivered an aggressive diss aimed at Uditi and Qazi. The performance included abusive, sexually suggestive and personal remarks, with some portions reportedly muted for television viewers.
The remarks quickly changed the atmosphere inside the house. Uditi walked away from the confrontation, while Qazi became visibly angry and objected to the language used against her.
Qazi Touqeer Loses His Temper During The Task
Qazi strongly defended Uditi after Rhiti’s performance. He reportedly called the diss inappropriate and asked Rhiti to stop.
His reaction became increasingly aggressive as he removed his jacket, threw it on the floor, banged tables and shouted during the confrontation. Other contestants intervened as the situation escalated.
Scout OP attempted to remind Qazi that the task was between Rhiti and Uditi, which led to another argument.
Qazi also looked toward the camera and addressed Rhiti’s father, Manoj Tiwari, questioning the remarks made by his daughter. He maintained that even a roast or diss battle should have limits. The incident became one of the central issues discussed during the Weekend Ka Vaar.
Salman Khan Calls Rhiti’s Diss The Worst Diss Ever
During Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan took up the controversial performance and strongly questioned Rhiti about her remarks.
Salman described the performance as the “worst diss ever” and criticised the personal nature of the comments. He also questioned whether Rhiti was insecure about Qazi.
Rhiti reportedly denied being insecure and said that she simply did not like Qazi as a person.
Salman also questioned the contestants who were present during the diss battle and reacted by laughing, clapping or encouraging Rhiti.
He raised a personal-boundary question for the housemates, asking in substance whether they would have allowed the same kind of diss if the remarks had been directed at their own sister.
The discussion put the spotlight not only on Rhiti’s words but also on the responsibility of the contestants who encouraged the performance.
Salman Khan Questions Male Contestants Over Their Silence
Salman Khan also reprimanded the male contestants who supported or encouraged Rhiti during the diss battle.
He questioned why they did not intervene when the performance crossed personal boundaries. Aasif Khan, in particular, was asked to consider whether he would have tolerated similar remarks if they had been directed at a member of his own family.
The host’s criticism suggested that simply treating the incident as a task was not enough to justify encouraging remarks that became personal.
The issue also raised a wider question about how contestants respond when entertainment-based tasks cross into personal attacks.
Salman Appreciates Qazi For Standing Up For Uditi
While Salman criticised Qazi’s aggressive behaviour, he also acknowledged his decision to stand up for Uditi during the diss battle.
Qazi had reacted strongly after hearing the remarks directed at Uditi and argued that there should be a limit to what contestants say even during a roast or rap task.
Salman’s discussion with the contestants therefore covered two separate aspects of Qazi’s conduct: his decision to defend Uditi and his physical and verbal aggression during the confrontation.
The host made it clear that standing up for someone does not justify losing control during a task.
Qazi Touqeer Also Gets Scolded For Aggressive Behaviour
While addressing Qazi’s confrontation with Yung DSA, Salman questioned his physical reactions during the task. He also pointed out that Qazi has repeatedly displayed aggressive behaviour during tasks.
Salman told Qazi:
“Ye kaisi acting hai? Uchhal-uchhal ke bandar jaise kya kar rahe the?”
The comment came while discussing Qazi’s confrontation with Yung DSA, during which the two contestants had to be separated.
The incident had reportedly started when Qazi attempted to take a ball from Yung DSA. Yung claimed that his leg was hurt during the confrontation. Qazi subsequently removed his T-shirt and challenged him, further escalating the situation before other contestants intervened.
Uditi Singh Also Faces Questions Over Her Remarks
The Weekend Ka Vaar discussion did not completely place the blame on Rhiti. Salman also pointed out that Uditi had crossed a line in her subsequent response to Rhiti.
After the diss battle, Uditi reportedly made personal comments about Rhiti’s appearance and body while speaking with Aman Gandhi. Aman advised her not to respond at the same level.
Uditi had also questioned Rhiti’s identity and told her to establish her own name rather than relying on her father’s reputation.

Amrapali Dubey Questioned Over Rhiti’s Remarks
Salman also questioned Amrapali Dubey about Rhiti’s comments and her own position during the controversy.

The Weekend Ka Vaar episode also featured a special appearance by Fatima Shaikh, who arrived to promote her upcoming web series Hunkkar. During her appearance, Fatima appreciated the gameplay of several contestants and had a special message for Qazi Touqeer.
She applauded Qazi for taking a stand for Uditi Singh during the controversy and also praised him for being entertaining throughout the season.
