Bengaluru: Veteran Kannada actress Shailaja Srishailan passed away following a prolonged age-related illness at her residence in Vyalikaval, Bengaluru. She breathed her last on July 16 at around 2 pm, leaving behind a career spanning several decades in Kannada cinema and television.
Shailaja Srishailan was the wife of veteran Kannada actor Srishailan. She is survived by her son Srikanth and daughter Srivani. Her passing has prompted tributes from members of the Kannada film fraternity, television artists, organisations and fans.
