A tragic incident has shaken Uttara Kannada after a 13-year-old Class 7 student died suddenly in Joida taluk, leaving doctors and villagers searching for answers

Uttara Kannada: In a heartbreaking incident from Joida taluk of Uttara Kannada district, a 13-year-old schoolgirl died suddenly under mysterious circumstances, leaving an entire village in shock and grief.

The deceased has been identified as Gangukavali, a Class 7 student from Chapali Gavalivada village.

According to family members and local residents, the young girl had no known history of major illness or heart-related medical conditions. She was reportedly active, healthy, and involved in daily school activities and outdoor games like other children in the village.

Healthy Until the Previous Evening
Relatives said Gangukavali was playing normally with friends until the previous evening and showed no signs of physical discomfort or illness.

However, in a shocking turn of events, she reportedly fell unwell the next morning. Family members stated that she vomited and collapsed shortly afterwards. Despite efforts to help her, she could not be saved.
The sudden death of the teenager has deeply affected the local community, with villagers struggling to come to terms with the unexpected loss.
Investigation Underway
Police have registered a case under the jurisdiction of Ramnagar Police Station and have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Officials said the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after medical examination and post-mortem findings.
