A woman in Bengaluru’s Vyalikaval area alleged that a father and son brutally assaulted her after she answered questions regarding an alleged illicit relationship. Police have registered a complaint and a counter-complaint
Bengaluru: In a disturbing late-night incident in Bengaluru, a woman was allegedly assaulted by a father and son in the limits of Vyalikaval Police Station after she reportedly disclosed details of an alleged extramarital affair to the concerned wife.
The incident took place around 10 PM on Friday night near the woman’s residence, creating tension in the locality. The victim has accused Nagaraj and his son Lokesh of attacking her physically.
According to the woman, she had not directly informed anyone about the alleged affair. However, when the wife of the person involved questioned her, she answered truthfully.
Soon after, the accused father-son duo allegedly arrived at her house in anger and attacked her.
Serious Allegations of Assault
The woman stated that she was dragged, physically assaulted, and hit with stones during the attack. The shocking allegations have sparked concern over rising incidents of personal disputes turning violent in Bengaluru.
Police sources said both sides have now approached authorities.
Complaint and Counter-Complaint Registered
Officials from Vyalikaval Police Station confirmed that both a complaint and a counter-complaint have been filed in connection with the case.
The accused, Nagaraj and Lokesh, were summoned for questioning, and police have started an inquiry into the matter.
Investigation Underway
Authorities are currently verifying statements from both parties and examining evidence related to the incident. Further legal action is expected based on the findings of the investigation.
