Mandya: A woman who had married for love reportedly left her marital home with her husband’s close friend, leaving behind their two children. The case has triggered emotional distress within the family and sparked widespread discussion in the local area.
According to reports, the couple had entered into a love marriage several years ago and were living together in a village under the Halaguru police limits of Mandya district. They were parents to two children and were said to be leading a normal family life until recent developments caused tension inside the household.
The husband had developed a close friendship with a local youth identified as Sagar. Due to their friendship, Sagar was reportedly a frequent visitor to the family home. Over time, the woman and Sagar are said to have become close, eventually leading to a relationship that remained unnoticed by family members initially.
‘Tangi’ Address Hid Growing Bond
Sources said the husband trusted his friend deeply and even allowed regular visits to the house. In a surprising detail, Sagar reportedly addressed the woman as “sister” in front of the family, which prevented suspicion for a long period.
What appeared to be trust inside the family allegedly turned into betrayal, leaving the husband shocked.
Family members stated that the woman and Sagar often communicated privately. Reports claim they exchanged messages frequently and remained in contact through mobile chats and WhatsApp status updates.
