The groom, identified as Rajesh Nayak, is a resident of Kanihal village in Sindhanur taluk of Raichur district. His marriage to Savita was scheduled and solemnised on April 13.
Wanting to make the occasion even more memorable, Rajesh reportedly sent a wedding invitation card to the Prime Minister’s Office in New Delhi, hoping that at least a reply might come.
While he had modest expectations, what followed became the talk of the district.
