28-year-old trainer Dileep found dead after suspected suicide; family alleges mental harassment, property pressure, police begin digital investigation

Nelamangala: A 28-year-old gym trainer and bodybuilder identified as Dileep died in Nelamangala after a suspected suicide incident that has triggered multiple allegations involving harassment, blackmail, and pressure over property matters. Police have begun an investigation after seizing the deceased man’s mobile phone for digital examination.

According to local reports, Dileep allegedly made a video call to a woman known to him moments before the incident. Family members later rushed to the room after receiving information and found him in critical condition. He was taken to a government hospital in Nelamangala, where doctors declared him dead after treatment attempts.

Relationship Began at Gym, Claims Surface

Dileep, a resident of Vajarahalli in Nelamangala taluk, worked as a gym trainer. Reports state that he became acquainted with a married woman, identified as Yogita, who visited the gym for fitness training. The acquaintance allegedly developed into a personal relationship.

Sources indicate that disputes linked to the relationship had reportedly reached a police station nearly a year ago and were then resolved. However, fresh allegations have now emerged after Dileep’s death.

Family Alleges Harassment and Pressure

The deceased man’s father, Ramesh, has made serious accusations, claiming his son was under severe emotional stress.

“My son was being mentally harassed. There was pressure regarding property in his name,” the family alleged.

The family claims Dileep was repeatedly troubled and mentally disturbed in recent months.

Video Call Before Death Raises Questions

Reports suggest that before the incident, Dileep contacted the woman through a video call. She allegedly informed his sister through Instagram after noticing something was wrong. Family members then rushed to the location and forced open the room door.

Police are now expected to verify call logs, messages, social media communication, and other digital evidence.

Police Begin Probe

Nelamangala Town Police visited the scene, conducted a preliminary inspection, and took possession of Dileep’s phone. Authorities have not released an official statement on charges or arrests so far.

The exact cause of death, the role of any individuals involved, and the authenticity of the family’s allegations will be determined through investigation.
