Dakshina Kannada Tops with 98.40%, Record Performance Announced by Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa


Bengaluru: The Karnataka SSLC Result 2026 for the academic year 2025–26 was officially declared on Wednesday, marking a record-breaking performance with an overall pass percentage of 94.1%, according to the state Education Department.


The results were announced at a press conference held at the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) office in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa shared detailed insights into the performance, calling it one of the highest success rates in recent years.



Seven Students Achieve Perfect Score
In an exceptional academic feat, seven students secured a perfect score of 625 out of 625, emerging as state toppers. The top scorers include:

  1. Bharath from Davangere
  2. Brinda from Chikkamagaluru
  3. Dhanush from Bengaluru North
  4. Pritam from Udupi
  5. Prathana from Chikkodi
  6. Saujanya from Vijayapura
  7. Sukhdev from Raichur

Their achievement highlights the rising academic standards across districts in Karnataka.


Dakshina Kannada Emerges as Top District
Among districts, Dakshina Kannada secured the first rank with an impressive 98.40% pass rate, followed closely by:

  1. Udupi – 98.18% (2nd place)
  2. Uttara Kannada – 98.09% (3rd place)
  3. Hassan – 97.51% (4th place)

  2. Sirsi – 6th (97.21%)
  3. Haveri – 7th (96.87%)
