Serious accident reported near Keesara Toll Gate as an out-of-control tanker topples onto a moving car
Hyderabad: A major road accident was reported near Keesara Toll Gate in Telangana after a cement tanker allegedly lost control while crossing the toll plaza and fell onto a nearby moving car. The impact reportedly crushed the vehicle, creating panic in the area.
According to initial reports, the heavy tanker toppled sideways during movement and landed on the car travelling adjacent to it. Due to the tanker’s massive weight, the car was left severely damaged.
The exact condition of the people inside the car had not been officially confirmed at the time of reporting.
Toll Staff Rush to Rescue
Toll plaza personnel and locals reportedly responded immediately and began efforts to remove the tanker and check for trapped occupants. Emergency assistance was expected at the scene.
Rescue operations often become difficult when heavily loaded vehicles overturn on smaller passenger cars.
Heavy Traffic Snarl at Toll Plaza
Because the crash happened close to the toll gate, long traffic queues formed around the plaza. Authorities were reportedly working to clear the damaged tanker and restore vehicle movement.
Cause of Accident Yet to Be Confirmed
While preliminary claims suggest the tanker lost control, officials are expected to investigate possible causes such as speed, imbalance, mechanical failure, braking issues, or road conditions.
Passenger Details Awaited
There is still no clear official information regarding how many passengers were in the car or whether injuries or fatalities occurred. Further updates are likely after rescue and inspection efforts conclude.
