CM Vishnudev Sai announces CGBSE results, 10th sees three joint toppers with 99%, 12th topper Jigyasa Verma leads with strong pass percentage


Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has officially declared the Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2026, bringing relief to lakhs of students across the state. The results were announced by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai during a press conference, along with the list of toppers.


Students who appeared for the exams can now check their results and download their digital marksheets through the official websites and government platforms.

Students can access their results through the following platforms:

  2. results.cg.nic.in
  3. DigiLocker (digilocker.gov.in)
  4. UMANG (web.umang.gov.in)

Three Students Top Class 10 with 99% Marks
This year, the Class 10 results witnessed a rare achievement, with three students jointly securing the top rank, each scoring an impressive 99%. The toppers include two girls and one boy, highlighting strong academic performance across genders.


The overall pass percentage for Class 10 stands at 77.15%, with girls outperforming boys.

  1. Boys' pass percentage: 72%
  2. Girls' pass percentage: 81%

Class 12 Results: Jigyasa Verma Tops, Girls Lead Again
In Class 12, Jigyasa Verma from Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Balodabazar district secured the first rank, followed by Omni Verma from Atmanand School in second place, while Krish Mahant finished third.


The overall pass percentage for Class 12 is recorded at 83.04%, again showing a higher success rate among girls:

  1. Boys pass percentage: 78.8%
  2. Girls pass percentage: 86.4%

Lakhs of Students Appeared for Exams
The board conducted the Class 10 examinations from February 21 to March 13, while Class 12 exams were held from February 20 to March 18.


A significant number of students participated this year:

  • Approximately 3.21 lakh students appeared for Class 10 exams
  • Around 2.45 lakh students appeared for Class 12 exams

The availability of results on multiple platforms, including DigiLocker and UMANG, ensures easy access, transparency, and digital convenience for students across the state.
