Bengaluru: In a deeply disturbing incident, a 19-year-old woman has been arrested after a newborn was found in a toilet pipe inside a manufacturing unit operated by Foxconn on Hosur Road in Bengaluru. The case surfaced after cleaning staff investigated a blocked drainage line, leading to the shocking discovery.
Body Found After Blocked Pipe Inspection
According to police, sanitation workers alerted management after noticing an unusual blockage in the toilet system. Upon inspection, they discovered the remains of a newborn lodged in the pipeline, triggering immediate police intervention and a formal complaint.
CCTV, Staff Questioning Lead to Arrest
Investigators reviewed CCTV footage and questioned employees who accessed the restroom around the time of the incident. Suspicion narrowed down to a young female employee, who was later detained and formally arrested following preliminary findings.
