Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to Dr B R Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, remembering him as a leading force behind an inclusive society and a guiding figure for generations.
The tribute came as people across Uttar Pradesh and several parts of the country marked the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, who is widely known as the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and a major contributor to social reform.
Yogi Adityanath’s Tribute on Social Media
In a post shared on X in Hindi, the Chief Minister offered respects to Dr Ambedkar and praised his contribution to nation-building.
“Humble tribute on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, architect of the Indian Constitution, who laid the foundation stone of a harmonious and inclusive society illuminated by the ideals of equality, justice and fraternity.”
The statement highlighted Dr Ambedkar’s role in strengthening democratic values and creating a constitutional framework based on equal rights and social balance.

Yogi Adityanath further described Dr Ambedkar as an invaluable gem of Mother India, saying his life continues to inspire millions of people.
The Chief Minister’s remarks reflected the continued political and social relevance of Ambedkar’s vision, especially on issues linked to education, constitutional rights, representation and social justice.
Ambedkar Jayanti Observed Across Uttar Pradesh
Across Uttar Pradesh, several events were organised to mark Ambedkar Jayanti. Floral tributes, public gatherings, cultural programmes and awareness campaigns were held in cities and rural regions.
Government offices, educational institutions, social organisations and political leaders also remembered Dr Ambedkar’s contributions during commemorative programmes.
