The Golden State Warriors defeated the Miami Heat 120-100 at Chase Center in San Francisco on November 5, 2026. Stephen Curry led the home team with 29 points as Golden State secured its sixth consecutive victory after opening the NBA season with three defeats.

San Francisco: The Golden State Warriors continued their winning run with a 120-100 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday night at Chase Center. Stephen Curry scored 29 points, while Yaxel Lendeborg contributed 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists as Golden State registered its sixth consecutive win.

The Warriors have now recovered from an 0-3 start to the season by winning six games in a row. Draymond Green played a key role in organising the offence, recording a season-high 11 assists. Georges Niang added 13 points off the bench.

For Miami, Davion Mitchell led the scoring with 22 points and eight assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 20 points and 14 rebounds, while Bam Adebayo finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Stephen Curry Sparks Warriors' Third-Quarter Comeback

Curry had a difficult start to the game, making just one of his first eight attempts and finishing the first half with two successful shots from 10 attempts. However, he found his rhythm after the break and helped Golden State take control.

Miami briefly led 61-58 early in the third quarter. Curry then sparked a decisive run as the Warriors outscored the visitors 26-9 during a crucial stretch. Golden State finished the third quarter with 38 points and carried its advantage into the final period.

Curry finished the game shooting 9-of-19 from the field, including six three-pointers. He narrowly missed recording his fourth consecutive game with at least 30 points after sitting out part of the closing stages when the result was largely decided.

Klay Thompson Returns to Face Former Warriors Teammates

The game also marked Klay Thompson's return to face his former Golden State team. The former Warriors guard received a warm reception from the home crowd before tipoff and scored 11 points, shooting 3-of-10 from the field.

Thompson entered the game after hitting a decisive three-pointer in Miami's 117-116 overtime victory over the LA Clippers on Wednesday.

Andrew Wiggins, another former Warriors player now with Miami, also faced his previous team. He finished with two points, six rebounds and four assists.

Stephen Curry Moves to 17th on NBA's All-Time Scoring List

Curry reached another career milestone during the opening quarter. His three-pointer at the 7:03 mark moved him into 17th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list, taking him past Oscar Robertson's career total of 26,710 points.

The Warriors finished the game with 16 three-pointers from 41 attempts, shooting 39 per cent from beyond the arc. Miami had identified defending the three-point line as a priority, but Golden State's perimeter shooting contributed to the home team's victory.

The game was also part of Golden State's Pride Night celebrations. The franchise honoured former assistant coach Jarron Collins' late twin brother, Jason Collins, during the event.
