Officials, however, have clarified that the present situation remains under control and there is no immediate reason for concern, as the majority of infected individuals are recovering with mild symptoms under medical observation.
Health authorities stated that the latest cases were identified through routine surveillance and testing conducted across the city. Officials continue to monitor the situation closely while emphasising that citizens should remain vigilant and adhere to essential preventive measures.

According to data released by the Health Department, Karnataka recorded 14 COVID-19 positive cases on Monday alone, taking the weekly tally in Bengaluru to 32 cases. A total of 193 COVID-19 tests were conducted during the period, out of which 32 individuals were confirmed positive.
Officials noted that the current positivity trend is being reviewed continuously to ensure timely intervention if required. Public health teams are also maintaining surveillance across healthcare facilities to monitor any further increase in infections.
