According to police sources, the incident occurred on March 24 after the accused, Mohan, returned to Bengaluru from a temple trip to Madurai along with Priyanka and the child. Investigators claim that while Priyanka was shopping in Indiranagar, Mohan remained inside a parked vehicle with the child.
