One accused was arrested after a juvenile was allegedly stabbed multiple times and dumped in a drain in West Delhi’s Meera Bagh area
New Delhi: A shocking crime linked to a relationship dispute has surfaced in the national capital after a juvenile boy was allegedly stabbed multiple times and thrown into a drain in West Delhi’s Meera Bagh area by two men who believed he had died.
According to Delhi Police, the attack was allegedly carried out over the victim’s relationship with the sister of one of the accused. One accused, identified as Mandeep alias Monu, has been arrested in connection with the case registered at Paschim Vihar East police station.
Police said efforts are currently underway to trace and arrest the second accused involved in the brutal assault.
Minor Allegedly Attacked Over Relationship With Girl
Investigators revealed that the accused had allegedly targeted the juvenile due to objections over his relationship with the sister of one of the attackers.
According to officials, the victim was allegedly stabbed four times during the assault before the accused dumped him into a drain, assuming he would not survive.
The horrifying nature of the attack has sparked concern over increasing violence linked to personal and relationship disputes among youths.
Police sources said the injured boy was later rescued and provided medical treatment, though details regarding his current health condition have not been officially disclosed.
Delhi Police Arrest Main Accused in Meera Bagh Case
A senior police officer confirmed that Mandeep alias Monu, aged 26, was arrested following an investigation into the incident.
The case has been registered under relevant sections at Paschim Vihar East police station, and further inquiry is underway to establish the exact sequence of events and identify the role of the second accused.
Authorities are also examining whether the attack was pre-planned and if additional individuals were involved in assisting the accused after the incident.
